A huge congratulations to Hannah who has raised £687.62 for Staying Put!

Hannah ran the Leeds 10K at Roundhey Park.

Why did she run? “I’m a healthcare worker and sadly we are seeing people coming in with injuries relating to domestic abuse and violence. The support is needed from Staying Put to help people regain their confidence and feel safe again.”

The race day saw thousands of runners take part in a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K. The weather was perfect for the day with the sun shining. During the course of the race Hannah tackled nesting Swans, hills and a foot injury.

“I am certainly not an athlete. I describe myself as a Jack Russel with the determination and agility of a Shetland Pony chasing a carrot cake so if I can do this anyone can!”
