Helpline
Our One Front Door helpline is open to anybody who needs help – whether you are a victim or survivor, a friend or family member of someone who needs help, a professional who needs advice for a client, or a perpetrator who wants to address your behaviour.
It is run as part of the Bradford Survive and Thrive partnership, along with WomenCentre and Family Action.
When you call the One Front Door, your call will be answered by a trained domestic abuse practitioner.
The One Front Door helpline number is:
0808 2800 999
Our helpline is completely free and confidential, and the call will not show up on itemised bills.
Calling our helpline is the best way to access help, as we will have a chat with you, and find out as much information as you are comfortable sharing with us, and then we will be able to give you your options on what you can do next, and how we can support you.
We help everyone who needs it, regardless of your gender identity or sexual orientation, so please feel reassured that you can call us and you will be supported.
Our helpline is open from Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 4.30pm. We close for half an hour at 1pm every day for lunch.
Beth* contacted One Front Door and said that her husband was physically abusive, he would destroy things around the house, and that she had to contact the police a few days ago as she was scared that he may seriously hurt her.
Web chat
The One Front Door team also manage the web chat function available right here on our website, from 9.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. At the top left of your screen, you will see a little orange icon, you can click on this to message us. It will ask you if it’s ok for us to use your data, but this is just so that we are compliant with European privacy laws, known as GDPR. Your information will always be entirely confidential and safe.
