Running for Staying Put feels like the perfect way to combine something I love – movement, with a cause I support and care about. It’s also extra special because I’m not just fundraising for Staying Put, I’m also part of the team. As an employee, I’ve seen first-hand the difference this work makes, and that insight makes every mile even more meaningful.

Having lived through domestic volatility and seeing the impact this has had on my loved ones, I’m deeply passionate about being a role model to survivors and providing them with the support they need to navigate the challenges, achieve their goals and re-build a life they see as worth living.

Online Fundraising

The simplest way to ask friends, family or colleagues to sponsor you is to set up an online sponsorship page. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to our approved fundraising website, JustGiving. Search for Staying Put.
  2. Follow the instructions to set up your page.
  3. Choose your fundraising target (the higher it is, the more survivors of domestic violence we can help.), page title and team members if you have them.
  4. Tell people why you are fundraising for Staying Put and how their donation can make a difference to the lives of survivors of domestic violence.
  5. Once your page is set up, email the link to your friends, family and colleagues, and post the link to your social media accounts.
  6. Don’t forget to get in touch with us to let us know how you’re supporting us, and send in your fabulous picture – we will share on our social media!

Offline Fundraising

Please get in touch if you need a paper sponsorship form, and instructions on how to send in any cash donations you may have.
