We are delighted to announce that Staying Put has been reaccredited and awarded the Women’s Aid National Quality Mark, demonstrating our continued commitment to providing a high quality of service to women and children experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence. The Women’s Aid National Quality Standards measure the quality of specialist domestic abuse services on a number of factors. The award recognises the high standards that we hold ourselves to and the positive impact that we make to the lives of survivors.

This award follows an assessment process by a team of experts across seven domains: Leadership, Governance and Accountability, Safety, Security and Dignity, Rights and Access, Physical and Emotional Health, Stability, Resilience and Children and Young People.

The Quality Standards aim to improve the consistency of service provision for survivors of violence and abuse. They provide a clear robust framework for support, set out expectations of the service’s leadership and staff, and articulate the quality journey survivors should experience throughout their journey.

“Getting to this stage has been a learning journey,” States Anita, Head of Operations and Client Care. “So many people have contributed to this success, far too many to mention! We’re really proud of everyone who has worked on this and of the service we deliver to people experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.”

“We are incredibly proud to have achieved this accreditation, thanks go to all our staff and leadership team, we demonstrate the high standard of our specialist services for survivors.” Says Paula Gardner, Chair of Staying Put “We have provided specialist service to survivors of violence and abuse for over 22 years, and each year touch the lives of over 21,000 people across the Bradford district and wider. Being assessed by experts and receiving this accreditation lets survivors know that they can access these services with confidence.”
