Staying Put, WomenCentre and Family Action are delighted to announce their £1.8 million per annum retender for domestic abuse and sexual violence services (DASV) has been secured for the next five years.
The Survive and Thrive partnership was established in 2019, when Staying Put, Family Action and WomenCentre joined forces to create a one stop shop for survivors of DASV. Last year, the partnership saw over 18,000 contacts through their One Front Door helpline. From 2019- 2023 over 75,000 people have benefitted from short term work, whilst over 42,000 people have benefitted from long term work.
“We are so thrilled to have been awarded the tender for a second time,” states Yasmin Khan Staying Put’s Group CEO. “We’d like to thank our dedicated and hard- working partnership team and board for their support during the retender.
We work in a trauma informed way and we will continue to build upon, expand and strengthen the comprehensive and successful DASV support service we have delivered over the last 5 years.’
Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “We are pleased to have awarded the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence service contract for another five years to the Survive and Thrive partnership, led by local provider Staying Put who have been delivering services locally for over 23 years.
“We are committed to ensuring that adults, children and young people in the district can live free from harms caused by domestic abuse and/or sexual violence and we will do this in collaboration with many partner agencies. Staying Put play a key role in this by providing a range of prevention and support services and interventions to those in need and we are assured of their ongoing commitment.”
