Women only – ** Due to the nature of our refuges being for women only, we can only accept applications from women under schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010**
We are looking for an experienced handyperson to work within our refuges and community houses to ensure that the maintenance of the properties and gardens remains at a high standard for our clients. You will carry out general maintenance and small repairs, including minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
Prime Objectives of post
- To provide efficient and effective caretaking support across Staying Put including ensuring security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards
- To carry out repairs, improve and provide maintenance support throughout the schemes and across all accommodation sites
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance across all provisions.
If you have a proven track record of undertaking building and ground maintenance, have an understanding of health and safety and work well in a team, we would love to hear from you.
